Phlight Of The Phoenix Tour Set For Saturday

Phlight of the Phoenix Bar Tour, in which participants can sample some of the finest establishments in Phoenixville, is set for this Saturday, August 22.

The Tour will comprise of such locations as The Barrel by A’Dello Vineyard and Winery, Bluebird Distilling, Black Walnut Winery, Iron Hill Brewery and Stable 12 Brewery.

“ The Phlight of the Phoenix is a bar tour unlike no other, in that it is comprised of tasting rooms and wine bars serving only locally-produced distilled spirits, wine and beer,” according to the official announcement on the event’s Facebook page. “The tour challenges guests to stop in to each of the participating producer’s tasting rooms and enjoy a flight or tasting of their offerings. Guests will take their “boarding pass” around to each location, where it will be punched once they have purchased their flight or tasting. Once they have visited each stop on the tour, they will have completed the Phlight of the Phoenix.”

The event runs from noon to 11 p.m., and participants are encouraged to space themselves out and stay hydrated. Those completing the event will receive a T-shirt.
