Phoenixville Decorated For The Holiday Season

PHOENIXVILLE, PA — The holiday season has officially arrived, and there's an extra special touch to the decorations in Phoenixville this year.

The Philly Home And Garden Show has lent a hand in sprucing up the wreaths which usually go downtown, and adding even more to the usual display.

The show, which will run at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks from Feb. 16 through Feb. 18, decided to help out after hearing one of their vendors was leading the charge to decorate the borough.

That vendor, Cameron Peters Floral Design, placed wreaths on lamp posts throughout the business district.

The show announced that they will supply Cameron Peters with 50 of the 270 wreaths that will be placed in the borough. The wreaths with red bows will be hung on light poles on Bridge and Main streets on Nov. 18, organizers said.

"At the show each year, we offer hundreds of ways for residents of Phoenixville and the greater Philadelphia region to spruce up their homes and gardens," said Assistant Show Manager Jenna Naffin. "We thought it only made sense to be a major part of the effort to bring festive design to downtown for the holidays."

The wreaths add further holiday cheer to the downtown area, which also includes lights and a tree.

On Friday, Feb. 16, the show at Oaks will also host Phoenixville Night, including free food and drink samples, to highlight borough businesses.
