Phoenixville Girl, 11, To Sing National Anthem At NHL Game

PHOENIXVILLE, PA -- Phoenixville's Isabelle Gottfried, 11, will perform the national anthem before a New York Rangers hockey game Sunday in Madison Square Garden.

It's not her first step into the national limelight: Gottfried previously performed the national anthem at the National Law Enforcement and Firefighters Children’s Foundation's parade in New York City on Thanksgiving Day.

She was also selected from over 800 students to participate in the Broadway Dreams New York Showcase last November, just before the parade.

The Rangers are hosting the Washington Capitals at 12:30 p.m. Sunday.
