Phoenixville Health Inspections: 18 Violators Over Last 2 Months

PHOENIXVILLE, PA — The Chester County Health Department inspected 29 Phoeniville area establishments since the beginning of October. Of those, 18 had at least one violation.

Bacon Me Crazy led the way with 12 violations as part of a Nov. 26 follow up visit. Violations included dirty dishes in all three sinks, shelves and drip tray in need of deep clean, ready-to-eat food left undated, rags stored in soiled liquid, lights out above cook's line, water stained ceiling tiles, floor left unclean, and more.

They also noted that the person in charge of the kitchen "does not have adequate knowledge of food safety in this food facility as evidenced by this non-compliant inspection."
