Phoenixville Library Series Teaches Backyard Composting Thursday
Phoenixville Library's community gardening series will teach backyard composting in a virtual class tomorrow night.
PHOENIXVILLE, PA — Ever thought about composting, but didn't know how to begin? A science teacher and experienced composter is ready to teach the Phoenixville community about sustainable backyard composting.
As part of the Phoenixville Public Library's Community Gardening Around the Village series, Tom DiMauro will bring expertise to the series. DiMauro teaches middle and high school science and is a trained Master Composter.
The Zoom class Backyard Composting 101:Purpose, Process and Problem Solving starts Thursday at 7 p.m. Those interested can register here. Registrations is required in order to receive the Zoom link for the class.

The next event in the series will be a class in making holiday swags, taught by Penn State Extension 4-H instructor Toni Stuetz. The Dec. 3 class is intended for adults and youth to work together. Free kits will be available for contactless pickup, or a supply list will be available with registration.
