Phoenixville HS National Honor Society Serving Free Meal

Just sign up if you'd like Phoenixville High School's National Honor Society to deliver a ziti pasta dinner to your home.

PHOENIXVILLE, PA — The Phoenixville Area High School National Honor Society wants to help out those who might be experiencing difficulty during the COVID-19 pandemic, so the club is serving a ziti pasta dinner at no charge.

Anyone interested in having a Ziti dinner delivered to themselves or their family can sign up by Feb. 26. The dinners will be delivered with no contact to front porches between 6 and 6:30 p.m. on March 1.

The dinners will include ziti pasta, bread, and dessert, the school's advertisement said.

Madison O’Neill, President of NHS, said, "These times are extremely tough, and we wanted to give those in our community a reason to keep looking up."

There is no charge for the meals. The dinners are a free service arranged by the Phoenixville National Honor Society.

"Providing free pasta meals not only rids of the stress of having to put another meal on the table, but gives people a reason to smile knowing that the Phoenixville community is here for them," O'Neill added.

The NHS said they are specially interested in helping any who might be experiencing difficulty during the pandemic.
