Phoenixville's Lt. Marshall Graduates From FBI National Academy
A Phoenixville officer has graduated from an elite FBI training course at Quantico.

PHOENIXVILLE, PA — A Phoenixville officer has graduated from an elite FBI training course at Quantico.
The Phoenixville police department's Lt. Brian Marshall completed the FBI National Academy's 11-week professional studies course last week.
The course includes law enforcement leaders from around the world, working to promote "the standardization and professionalism" in local police departments.

"Our community is extremely proud of Lt. Marshall's accomplishment," Mayor Peter Urscheler said. "Having a member of our command staff receive this world-renowned training demonstrates an investment in the police department and our agency's commitment to provide professional police service to the residents of Phoenixville."
Urscheler and Administrative Sgt. Joseph Nemic attended the ceremony at Quantico with Marshall.

The FBI National Academy was created under director J. Edgar Hoover's tenure in 1935.
