Renaissance Academy Softball Team Advances to Semi-Finals
Today on their home field, the RA Lady Knights softball team will take on the Dock Mennonite Academy Pioneers in the PIAA 2A Semi-Final game

Phoenixville, PA – Today on their home field, the Renaissance Academy Lady Knights softball team will take on the Dock Mennonite Academy Pioneers in the PIAA, District One 2A semifinal game. The game is scheduled for 3:45 pm on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at the Renaissance Academy home field (Friendship Field - 279 Fillmore Street, Phoenixville, PA).
This accomplishment is notable because, although the Lady Knights have been four time champions of the Tri-County Independent School League, this year Renaissance Academy has moved to the Bicentennial Athletic League.
The Lady Knights finished their season 11-3. Renaissance Academy Athletic Director, Kevin Zvorsky said that he is proud of the Lady Knights’ 2021 performance. “This is our first year in our new league, as well as competing in the PIAA (Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association). In their first season, the softball team won their league Division Championship and finished the regular season as the #2 team in District One. I am excited to be able to see this team compete for a District championship”.
