Route 113 Shut Down In Trappe After Accident Brings Down Wires

Breaking: An accident in Trappe brought down electrical wires and a pole, leading to significant delays Monday.

TRAPPE, PA -- Main Street was shut down in Trappe after an accident brought down electrical wires and a pole, authorities said.

The accident caused significant delays as rush hour approached Monday, and the closure is expected to last through rush hour.

The area is closed between 3rd Avenue (Route 113) and 7th Avenue.

PECO is on the scene making repairs.

Police urged motorists not to attempt to take a shortcut down Williams Way or 5th Avenue, as you will be unable to pass.

Fire police are on the scene directing traffic.

No injuries have been reported.
