Shay Gustafson Signs to Join Mansfield Baseball

PHOENIXVILLE, PA - Renaissance Academy senior, Shay Gustafson has elected to continue his athletic career by signing a National Letter of Intent to play baseball for the Mansfield University of PA Mounties. Shay’s official signing was held on November 13th, 2019 at the Renaissance Academy Charter School, Phoenixville, PA.

During his freshman to junior year seasons, Shay played baseball for both the Renaissance Academy Knights and for club team, Lehigh Valley Baseball Academy. He had an accumulative batting average of .386 with an on base percentage of .522.

In addition to playing baseball, Shay, the son of Robert and Heather Gustafson from Collegeville, PA, played 4 years of varsity basketball for the Renaissance Academy Charter School Knights.

The Mansfield University Mountaineers intercollegiate athletics are members of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II and compete in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC)..
