Single Mother's Mentoring Program Gearing Up For Spring Session

Do you want more peace in your home, a community where you can form friendships and ways to inspire your children and yourself?

Orion Communities in Phoenixville is a social service agency which has been meeting the unmet needs of the most vulnerable in the community for 43 years. Sometimes those unmet needs include single mothers who are faced with the challenges of raising children on their own while trying to build on life skills such as education and employment.

Gutsy Ladies Achieving their Destiny, also known as GLAD, is a free 8 week single mother's mentoring program conducted in a group format. The groups are all interactive--no lectures, lots of discussion, role plays, videos, laughter and community.

Children are welcome and meals are provided.
