Theodore 'Ted' Barnett Was Phoenixville Auto Mechanic, Veteran

A Phoenixville man who served in the Army National Guard and worked as an auto mechanic, Ted Barnett, has died.

PHOENIXVILLE, PA — Harry Theodore "Ted" Barnett III, 76, husband of Austin Kirkbride of Phoenixville, passed away Feb. 22 at home.

Born on Jan. 5, 1945 in Phoenixville, he was the son of the late Harry T. Barrnett, Jr. and Katherine A. (Marren) Barnett.

He served in the U.S. Army National Guard. Ted was a self-employed auto mechanic at his home for many years. An online post in memory of Barnett said he loved his family and his dogs.

He was an avid pistol shooter and had been a member of Kimberton Rod and Gun.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Nikki wife of Sean McCrossan. He leaves behind two grandchildren, Maureen Katharine and Quinn Patrick McCrossan.

He was preceded in death by his son, Ted Ryan Barnett.

Ted Barnett's memorial service was private. Friends and family are invited to a visitation at the Devlin Rosmos Kepp and Gatcha Funeral Home, 517 S. Main Street, Phoenixville on Friday, March 5, from 10-11 a.m.
