PHOENIXVILLE, PA — Phoenixville police said Monday a tractor trail may have been damaged a traffic signal control box while making a left turn toward Franklin Avenue from Bridge Street.

A white Volvo tractor pulling a white trailer was photographed at the scene of the damage, around 9:36 p.m. on July 27, a police publication said.

A traffic signal and control box was destroyed, the report said. The truck was traveling east on Bridge Street (Rt. 113), and apparently made a left turn onto Gay Street toward Franklin Avenue, heading north toward the Veteran's Memorial Bridge. The turn may have left the damage behind, police suspect.
