Two of Chester County's basketball stars - one boy and one girl - have been nominated as McDonald's All-Americans.

Two of Chester County's basketball stars - one boy and one girl - have been nominated as McDonald's All-Americans.
Mohamed Bamba, a 6-11, 207 pound senior at West Chester's Westtown School, is one of the nation's top athletes. He is ranked the #4 player in the country by ESPN. According to 247sports.com, Bamba's college choices are down between Duke and Kentucky.
A total of 11 boys from Pennsylvania were nominated to the team. He was one of two Chester County athletes to be named.

Courtney Worley, of Bishop Shanahan High School in Downingtown, also earned a nomination.
Nominees were selected high school coaches, athletic directors, principals and members of the McDonald’s All American Games Selection Committee.

Becoming nominated is just the first step. The final roster of 24 boys and 24 girls will be selected on January 15. Those athletes will compete during the 40th annual games on Wednesday, March 29 at Chicago's United Center. The game will be broadcast on ESPN.
