Two-Vehicle Crash Sent One Driver To Hospital By Helicopter
A two-vehicle crash in North Coventry Township sent both drivers to hospitals and shut down S. Hanover Street for six hours on Tuesday.
NORTH COVENTRY TOWNSHIP, PA — A two-car accident that closed S. Hanover Street for six hours on Tuesday afternoon is under investigation.
North Coventry Police Department responded to a two-vehicle crash in the 1300 block of S. Hanover Street around 12:17 p.m. on June 15.
Officers reported they found one vehicle off to the west side of the roadway facing east and one vehicle facing northwest across both lanes of travel. Both vehicles had front-end damage and had to be towed from the scene, the police report said.

Both drivers were treated at the scene by Goodwill Ambulance. One driver was flown to Reading Hospital via PennStar and the other was transported to Reading Hospital by Goodwill Ambulance, North Coventry Police reported.
Police reported S. Hanover Street was closed for about six hours while investigators reconstructed the accident. The crash is currently under police investigation.

North Coventry Police Department was assisted at the scene by the Chester County Detectives, Norco Fire Company, Norco Fire Police, and Ridge Fire Police.
