PHOENIXVILLE, PA -- To a baseball fan in the Philadelphia region, the phrase "perfect game" likely conjures memories of Phillies great Roy Halladay, or even Yankees legend Don Larsen, who was perfect in Game 5 of the 1956 World Series.
Now, to baseball fans in the Phoenixville area, there will be another name that comes to mind: Kevin Cushing.
Cushing, a starter for the Phantoms, was perfect on Tuesday, shutting down Pottstown without allowing a single base runner en route to a 7-0 Phoenixville win.

On the final pitch of the game, there was a sharp ground ball up the middle. Phoenixville shortstop Devon Goryl made a smooth play to throw the batter out at first, and the team sprinted to the pitcher's mound in celebration of the feat.
