Volunteers Needed for Fall Tree Planting in Phoenixville

Want to help add some greenery to Phoenixville?

PHOENIXVILLE, PA -- The Borough will be planting 32 trees on the morning of Saturday, November 19, and volunteers are urgently needed to help with the program.

The event will begin at 9 a.m. at Reeves Park. The volunteer group will meet there for a demonstration planting before splitting up and planting the other trees.

The trees were purchased through a grant from the Pennsylvania Horticulture Society in conjunction with their TreeVitalize program and Plant One Million campaign. Trees will be planted in parks and along streets in the Borough.
