West Vincent, West Pikeland Among Philly's Most Expensive Suburbs
The average sale price in West Vincent in 2018 was $579,278, making it one of the most expensive Philly suburbs to buy a home.

WEST VINCENT TOWNSHIP, PA — A pair of communities just southeast of Phoenixville are among the most expensive in the entire Philadelphia metro area, according to a new study.
West Vincent Township and West Pikeland Township were both included in a recent analysis analysis by Philadelphia Magazine, which lists the Philadelphia region's 50 most expensive neighborhoods for home purchases.
Together, the neighboring townships cover a broad swath of land that offers the best of rural Chester County while staying within a short drive of destinations downtown Phoenixville and even parts of the Main Line.

West Vincent's average 2018 price for a home was $579,278, the study states, putting at number 25 overall in the region.
West Pikeland, meanwhile, trailed only shortly behind at 32nd overall, with a 2018 average of $553,171. That marked a four percent increase over 2017, accoring to the report.

The leader in the Philadelphia area for pricy real estate is Villanova, where last year's average purchase price was $1,125,280.
Several other Chester County communities made the top 50 list, including Easttown (7), Newlin (10), Charlestown (17), Pennsbury (19), Thornbury (20), Pocopson (21), Devon (24), Willistown (30), and several more.
