Where To Donate Your Old Books in Town
Find out where you can donate your old and unused books.

Look for the green box in the parking lot at the Shoppes at Valley Forge to donate your old and unused books. The green box is hosted by Better World Books—a for profit company that gives part of its profits to charities.
Better World Books was founded in 2002 as a company that sold textbooks online. Since then, the company has been hosting book drives and collecting used books and textbooks through its network of college campuses and libraries. To date, it has converted more than 99 million reused and recycled books into almost $14 million in funding for literacy and education programs.
Through large green book bins like the one in Phoenixville, it also has donated more than 7.6 million books to literacy programs such as Books for Africa, Room to Read, Worldfund, the National Center for Family Literacy, and Invisible Children.
