Young Audubon Actress Performs in 'Shrek The Musical'
Emmalyn Koch performs in the children's ensemble for 'Shrek The Musical' at the Walnut Street Theatre

Emmalyn Koch is going green for the holidays in Shrek the Musical at the Walnut Street Theatre - playing now through January 5.
Based on the DreamWorks film, Shrek The Musical is the story of a reclusive ogre who finds himself on a life-changing journey alongside a wisecracking donkey and a feisty princess. Complete with new songs and an outrageous cast of fairy tale characters, this hilarious musical is entertainment for children and adults alike.
Emmalyn Koch is an 8th grade student at Arcola Intermediate School and Audubon, Pennsylvania resident. Shrek the Musical marks Emmalyn’s Walnut mainstage debut, having previously taken classes and voice lessons at the Walnut. Across her five years of performing, Emmalyn says her favorite roles so far have been Wendy Darling in Peter Pan and Belle in Beauty and the Beast. Outside of theatre, Emmalyn loves to write, draw and work with the National Charity League.
