North Allegheny Squeaks By Pine-Richland, 29-28

It was a nail-biter Friday night as the North Allegheny Tigers squeaked by Pine-Richland, 29-28.

With six seconds remaining on the clock, the Rams fell short on a 40-yard field goal, allowing the Tigers to hold on for the win in the Northern Eight Conference match-up, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Although Pine-Richland came close to breaking the streak, North Allegheny hasn’t lost two consecutive regular season games since 2006. The Tigers fell 20-6 to the Seneca Valley Raiders last week.

Pine-Richland quarterback Ben DiNucci finished the game 24 of 28 for 313 yards and two touchdowns, according to the PG.

Despite the loss, the Rams out gained the Tigers, 313-146, through the air and 442-287 in total yards.
