Pine-Richland School Calendar 2017-18: First Day Of School, Vacations, Conferences

The first day of school in Pine-Richland is August 24. Feel free to mark it on your calendar as one of the most dreaded days of the year for students and teachers — and feel free not to feel guilty about marking it as one of your favorites. The Pine-Richland School District has released its 2017-2018 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

September

• 9/4: No School (Labor Day)

October

• 10/27: No School for Students (In-Service/Clerical Day)

November

• 11/2: Half Day for Students (Parent/Teacher Conference Day)
• 11/3: Half Day for Students (Parent/Teacher Conference Day)
• 11/23 - 11/27: No School (Thanksgiving Break)

December

• 12/25 - 1/1: No School (Winter Break)

January

• 1/15: No School for Students (Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, In-Service/Clerical)

February

• 2/19: No School for Students (In-Service/Clerical Day)

March

• 3/29 - 4/2: No School for Students (In-Service/Clerical Day)

April

• 4/27: No School for Students (In-Service Day)

May

• 5/28: No School (Memorial Day)
• 5/29: Last Day for Seniors & Kindergartners

June

• 6/1: Graduation for Seniors
