Steelers' Roethlisberger Puts Pittsburgh-Area Mansion On Market
The Steelers' quarterback is asking $2.2 million for the five-acre estate.
PITTSBURGH, PA - It was a starter home for Ben Roethlisberger early in his career, and now it's on the market. The Steelers quarterback is trying to sell his private, gated five-acre estate in Hampton for $2, 295,000, according to Realtor.com.
Roethlisberger's life was dramatically different when he purchased the home for $2,220,000 in 2006 , his third season with the Steelers. He got married in 2011, had children and presumably moved to larger accommodations in the Pittsburgh area.
Not that this place is small. It comes with eight bedrooms, seven baths, a six-car attached garage and a separate building for recreational vehicles. There's also a two-story kitchen with a children's library above, a high-definition golf simulation area and a playroom with a new rubber floor.
