The Borough of Pottstown has a telephone Emergency Notification System. We use this system to notify residents, business owners and utility customers in emergency situations, as deemed necessary. If you receive a call from the Borough of Pottstown, please listen to the message carefully and in its entirety.

Due to FCC regulations, if you wish to receive Reverse-911 messages from the Borough of Pottstown on your cellphone, you must register your cellphone number(s) with the Borough’s Emergency Notification System, which can be done by calling (610) 970-6540 or by emailing utilities@pottstown.org. No action is required for those with land lines listed in the White Pages as these lines are automatically registered with the Borough’s Reverse-911 notification system.
