Study Of Traffic Near School Gets Backing

Colebrookdale Township commissioners recently agreed to send a letter to the Pennsylvania Dept. of Transportation to begin a traffic safety study in the area of Boyertown Elementary School. Commissioners also agreed to pay 25 percent of the costs to comply with the study results. Read full story.

• Friday was a busy day for Amity Township police as they dealt with three separate accidents that wreaked havoc on Route 422 in the township and left several people injured. The first accident occurred just before 10 a.m. Friday, with a three car accident at Limekiln Road and Route 422 West.
