She often works extra hours to help whenever or wherever she is needed. She has never been late to work, nor has she missed a day.

“We have been so blessed to have Kathy on our team,” said Shawn Barndt, Chestnut Knoll executive director. “Kathy has such high energy and is always very upbeat. This trip is Chestnut Knoll’s gift to her, in celebration of her dedication and 10 years of perfect attendance service. She definitely deserves this trip for all the time and effort she puts into helping people at Chestnut Knoll.”

Chestnut Knoll recently surprised Flicker after her shift with the exciting trip for her family.

The trip includes five days, four nights in Disney World in September at Disney Caribbean Beach, including airfare and a park hopper pass for the family.

Chestnut Knoll arranged the vacation, estimating dates in September so she can choose the ones that work best for her.

Flicker currently lives in Boyertown with her husband Chuck. Her four-year-old grandson, David, who she absolutely adores, will be joining her and Chuck on the trip.

“We are thrilled to give Kathy this trip to Disney,” said Barndt. “She will go out of her way to help anyone that needs it, whether they are a resident or a family member. We hope she and her husband and grandson enjoy this trip and time-off from work.”
