Coventry Christian Schools Launches Summer Academy

POTTSTOWN - Coventry Christian Schools is offering a diverse catalog of academic enrichment, arts and recreation classes to children of all ages throughout the tri-county area.

Course topics range from writing, Latin, and philosophy to knitting, chamber music camp and Shakespeare Performance camp.
The goal of the Summer Academy is to provide courses of exceptional quality to highly motivated students who wish to learn new skills, have fun, or just to keep sharp over the summer.

High school credit can be earned for high school level courses.
Students can prepare for the SAT’s with courses that focus on the Math and Vocabulary portions of the exam.
Violin lessons are available to people of all ages from adults to children as young as 3 years old.
Other courses include Roots of Western Civilization, Drawing, Grammar, Financial Planning, Shakespeare’s Tragedies and Comedies, The Joy of Algebra and Table Tennis.
A program is also available for students with learning differences. This is an opportunity for parents to work closely with an expert to employ neurological therapies aimed at addressing specific learning needs of individual students.
Paul Fisher, director of advancement at CCS, is thrilled about the opportunities the Academy will offer to motivated students across the tri-county area.
“Summer provides such a unique opportunity for us to offer distinctive and engaging learning experiences to students of all ages throughout our local community, not just CCS students,” he said. “We are really pleased to add the Academy because of its potential to expand the intellectual and creative horizons of students.”
