Driver Jailed in Fatal Crash Related to Synthetic Marijuana
Roger Malloy was sentenced to jail for his role in the crash.

A Pottstown resident pleaded guilty on Thursday to vehicular homicide charges stemming from a crash that killed two passengers in his car in May 2012, according to a report on phillyburbs.com.
Roger T. Malloy, 28, was handed a mandatory six- to twelve-year sentence after he pleaded guilty. Malloy was driving and, according to police, high on K2, a synthetic marijuana, when he lost control of his car and struck a building.Â
The crash killed 28-year-old James Crawford and 15-year-old Rachel Witt, both of Pottstown. 15-year-old Kendal Harper, also a passenger, was injured.
On June 13, Rafie Ali, the owner of the store where the K2 was sold, was convicted under a new law that holds business owners responsible when illegal drugs are sold on their premises.
However, the jury in the Ali case was not aware of the case's connection to this crash until after they had convicted Ali.Â
