Fair Districts PA to speak in Pottstown soon!

Learn about partisan gerrymandering in Pottstown and why it hurts local government & voters

Speaker/Organizing Meeting in February
Speaker/Organizing Meeting in February (FDPA)

UU Fellowship of Pottstown at 1565 S. Keim Street is hosting Fair Districts PA on Saturday, February 8, 2-4 p.m., to speak about the effects of partisan gerrymandering on local government and citizens.

Pottstown is broken among three counties! and FDPA leaders from those counties, Chester, Montgomery, and Berks, will all be there to speak with residents.

Know a little about gerrymandering or a lot, please come talk with us. We have less than six months to pass the legislation we endorse. The bills HB 22/23 are the most cosponsored House bills this legislative session, and SB 1022/1023 were written to match their language.

But the bills need to come to the floor for a vote without unpalatable amendments, which is what happened last session. 67% of PA registered voters are on board with an independent citizens commission. Come and hear how it can work!
