"Fight On Makenna Foundation" to Host 1st ‘Bite for The Fight'

A culinary event featuring Chef Robert Irvine and benefiting families facing pediatric cancer

PHILADELPHIA – September 3, 2019 – The Fight On Makenna Foundation will hold its first annual “Bite for the Fight” Food Festival on September 7, 2019 at the Kimberton Fair Grounds in Phoenixville, PA.

Headlined by Celebrity Chef Robert Irvine, “Bite for the Fight” will be the Philadelphia area’s premier culinary event. Guests who purchase tickets to the event will have the chance to sample and vote for the Best Bite from over 20 of the top local restaurants from the Delaware Valley, while tasting local craft brews, fine wines, and cocktails served up by craft distilleries.

“The event is in honor of a beautiful little girl who was full of life and fought until the end,” said SportsRadio 94 WIP's and long-time advocate of the Fight On Makenna Foundation, Howard Eskin. “Having Chef Robert Irvine makes it even more special. I would suggest all support.”

Event guests, and others interested in contributing to the foundation, can also take part in an auction for the chance to win various prizes and experiences donated from Philadelphia area businesses and organizations.
