Free Naloxone Distribution, Education Event In Pottstown June 5

The free event will teach the community about how to use the opioid-overdose-reversing drug, as well as provide them with the drug

POTTSTOWN, PA – In the fight against the opioid epidemic, the Montgomery County Office of Drug and Alcohol is hosting another free quarterly Naloxone distribution and education event on Tuesday, June 5.

The event will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the Community Room of the South Building at the Montgomery County Community College West Campus, 101 College Drive in Pottstown.

Members of the public can learn about Naloxone, when and how to use it, and other resources available to those in need of treatment for substance use disorder. The overdose-reversing drug will also be distributed at the event.
