Lincoln Elementary Hosts Muffins For Moms

The event featured a reading session with moms and students.

Lincoln Elementary School Principal Lori Hoch and her staff hosted the annual Muffins for Moms Reading Breakfast.

Over 140 Lincoln mothers shared an early morning snack of muffins, bagels, and fruit with their children. 

As moms and their children enjoyed the treats, they shared time to read from one of the student’s favorite storybooks.

“I am very happy to see so many of our mothers who were able to share time and help emphasize the joy the reading with their children," Hoch said. "The 15 minutes of reading each of the 153 students did equals over 38 hours of total reading time. This is another example of the school and the community coming together to ensure that our children have the opportunity to become outstanding citizens.”
