MCCC Pottstown To Celebrate Renovations

The school will mark the completion of phase II renovations to the Schuylkill Riverfront Academic and Heritage Center.

 

will hold a dedication and ribbon cutting ceremony at 9 a.m. February 2 to mark the completion of phase II renovations to the Schuylkill Riverfront Academic and Heritage Center at 140 College Drive in Pottstown. 

Tours of the facility will be available after the ceremony.

Special guests at the event will include PA Senator John Rafferty; state representatives Kate Harper, Tom Quigley, Marcy Toepel and Mike Vereb, Pottstown Councilwoman Carol Kulp, MCCC President Karen A. Stout and Board of Trustees Chairman Michael D’Aniello.

According to officials for the project, Pottstown includes "many of the traditional elements of the ideal college town."

The new center, "an ambitious campus expansion and community redevelopment project located on a three-acre site of a former electric generating station," represents a unique partnership between the college and Schuylkill River National and State Heritage Area.
