The restaurant, the Blue Elephant, will be located at the former Brickhouse Restaurant on High Street.
Details on the opening are scarce, but a date for late summer 2019 has been announced.

According to a report from The Reading Eagle, the new restaurant is the project of renown restaurant owner Win Somboonsong, whose family owns several Japanese-style restaurants in Chester and Delaware counties.
