PA Senate Seeks Cosponsors for Two New Redistricting Bills

Bills before the PA House creating an independent redistricting commission for legislative and congressional redistricting, HB 22 & 23, are among the most cosponsored of any bills currently before the House. Help those of us who support a fair, impartial, transparent process of drawing voting districts: write to urge Speaker of the House Mike Turzai, Majority Leader and Rules Chair Bryan Cutler, and Chair of the State Government Committee Garth Everett to bring HB 22 & 23 to the floor for a vote.

Signs of real bipartisan support for an independent redistricting commission are emerging in the PA Senate: Senators Killion and Boscola are asking for cosponsors on two bills which will match the language in HB 22 & 23. We need everyone to write to their Senators to ask them to cosponsor what will eventually be called SB 1022 & 1023.
