The Pottstown Borough Parks and Recreation Department has closed Pollack Park, after tests deemed the soil in the park unsafe.

POTTSTOWN, PA -- The Pottstown Borough Parks and Recreation Department has closed Pollack Park, after tests have deemed the soil in the park unsafe. The borough had planned on upgrading the park, hence why the tests on the soil were completed.
Before the borough acquired the park in 1979, Mayer Pollack Steel Corp. owned it, and it was used as a scrap yard.
