Pottstown To Compete In Unique Fundraising Tournament

The tournament raises money for student scholarships for high school seniors who excel in "scholarship, community service, and sports."

Pottstown is among the schools that will compete in the unique Montgomery County Triangle Club basketball tournament at the end of December.

The triangle club raises funds for student scholarships for high school seniors who excel in scholarship, community service, and sports, club spokesman Doug Lavenburg said.

The annual tournament is one of their biggest fundraisers.

The two night tournament will feature Hatboro-Horsham, Pottsgrove, Father Judge, and Norristown.

It will run from two nights on December 28 and 29 and is hosted by Norristown Area High School.
