Pottstown Couple Faces Trial for Taking Daughter From Hospital
The couple removed their daughter from treatment against medical advice.

A Pottstown couple who allegedly removed their sick baby from Lehigh Valley Hospital in October are facing misdemeanor charges of endangering the welfare of a child and disorderly conduct after waiving a preliminary hearing in the matter.
April Saul and Daniel Rivera were charged in the case after removing their infant daughter, Aarlynn Saul-Rivera, from the hospital against doctor's orders, according to a story on Lehigh Valley Live.
Saul and Rivera told authorities that they had repeatedly requested that the baby be transferred to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia because they believed that Lehigh Valley Hospital didn't have a specialist to treat Aarlynn's heart defect.
Both Saul and Rivera are free on bail pending trial.Â
