Pottstown Library Selected as a GIANT Bags 4-My-Cause Beneficiary

The Pottstown Regional Pubic Library is proud to announce it has been selected as a beneficiary of the GIANT Bags 4-My-Cause Program for the month of November 2019.

The GIANT Bags 4-My-Cause Program, which launched in March 2019, is a reusable bag program that facilitates community support with the goal to make a difference in the communities where shoppers live and work.

The Pottstown Regional Public Library was selected as the November 2019 beneficiary of the program by store leadership at the GIANT located at Upland Square in West Pottsgrove, Pottstown PA.

The Library will receive a $1 donation every time the $2.50 reusable Bags 4-My-Cause Bag is purchased at this location during November 2019 (unless otherwise directed by the customer to another organization through the Giving Tag attached to the bag.)

“The Library Board of Directors is thrilled with this recognition of the importance of the library in our community” said Chris Delp, President of the Board of Directors. “We invite all local businesses and residents to join in supporting the Library. We know these reusable bags will be useful to customers and Library patrons during this season of busy shopping.”

The Pottstown Regional Public Library is a non-profit located at 500 E High Street, Pottstown PA 19464. It was founded in 1920 by the Pottstown Century Club. Since that time, the Library has evolved from providing free public access to books, to now include classes, youth and adult programs, instruction, computer services, internet access, on-line materials, passport services, copying and faxes, and other services unimaginable one-hundred years ago.
