Pottstown Man Injured In Speeding Crash: Cops

POTTSTOWN, PA — A Pottstown man was injured in a crash early Friday morning, authorities said.

The incident occurred at around 2 a.m. on the 1200 block of Laurelwood Road in North Coventry.

Police said that Zachary Grim, 30, was driving his blue BMW at a high rate of speed when he hit a tree.

Grim was rescued "by mechanical means" by the North Coventry Fire Co., and he was then taken to Reading Hospital for treatment.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
