Pottstown's Dene Liott Invited To Speak At PA Action Coalition

Liott, founder, producer and host of "What's Happening" TV Shows, will speak about her experiences as an in-home caregiver.

 

The Pennsylvania Action Coalition Conference on Healthcare will host a statewide meeting, “Partnering to Transform Healthcare in Pennsylvania,” in Philadelphia 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 7 to discuss a plan for the future of health care across the state.

Pottstown's Dene Liott, founder, producer and host of "What’s Happening" TV Shows, will speak at the event about her experiences as an in-home caregiver.

The coalition, which partners with the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and American Association of Retired Persons, will host the statewide meeting at the Inn at Penn, 3600 Samson Street in Philadelphia. 

The coalition ensures families and communities receive "the best possible health care," according to the group's website. The event will discuss "an action-oriented blueprint" for the future of health care in Pennsylvania where the nursing profession has the potential to effect wide-reaching change in the health care system.

The meeting will give the public a chance to meet and talk with nurses, healthcare leaders and policy makers, the coalition's website states.

Pennsylvania has the opportunity to transform its healthcare system to provide seamless, affordable, quality care that is accessible to all, according to the coalition's website.

"The coalition is confident it can successfully improve healthcare results in the Commonwealth."
