Pottstown Won't Get New Mental Health Facility

An empty warehouse on Robinson Street will not change into a residential mental health facility, says Pottstown Borough council.

POTTSTOWN, PA -- Norristown State Hospital will have to look elsewhere to house mental health patients once it closes. They will not be moving to Robinson Street in Pottstown, according to Pottstown Borough council.

Borough council denied a request from Creative Health to change a warehouse on Robinson Street into a new home for the patients last week.
