The Borough of Pottstown is seeking firms to submit letters of interest and statements of qualifications for general consulting, planning, environmental, engineering, and construction phase services on an as needed basis for the Pottstown Municipal Airport (N47) located in Pottstown, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. N47 is a general aviation airport owned and managed by the Borough. The airport has a 2,700-foot runway and approximately 50 aircraft currently based on the property. The Borough has an approved Twelve-Year Airport Capital Improvement Plan and works with PennDOT’s Bureau of Aviation to obtain funding for capital improvement projects through the state aviation block grant program.

The firm selected to provide professional services will be awarded a three (3) year contract with two (2) one-year options to renew, subject to approval by Borough Council. The tasks to be undertaken by the consultant shall be on a task order basis with the fee for each determined by a professional services agreement identifying hourly costs for personnel classifications at the time of the request by the Borough. The Borough encourages the participation of Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) firms in applying for this opportunity.
