'Scenes Of The Schuylkill' Art Show Includes 96 Original Works
A total of 96 works of art depicting the beauty of the Schuylkill River area will be on display at a gallery through Dec. 17.

POTTSTOWN, PA — A total of 96 works of art depicting the beauty of the Schuylkill River area will be on display at a gallery through Dec. 17.
The 14th annual Scenes of the Schuylkill Art Show provides a platform for regional artists to showcase the majesty of the area in a variety of mediums and styles.
The juried exhibit is a joint production of the Schuylkill River Heritage Area in partnership with Montgomery County Community College, and can be seen at Montco's West Campus Gallery at 16 West High Street in Pottstown.

The works selected for the gallery were carefully curated by juror Rachel McCay, assistant curator for the Woodmere Museum of Art in Philadelphia, from a total of 128 submissions.
Three winning entries and four honorable mentions were selected.

- Best of Show: Shamarukh N. Billah for oil on gesso board painting, "Abandoned Church Building"
- Second Place: Veronika Berry, collage, "Great Blue Heron on the Schuylkill River"
- Third Place: Steven J. White, watercolor, "Essence"
