Now Pottstown trail users can explore even farther on long adventures.

Foot by foot, mile by mile, the Schuylkill River Trail is expanding green space and public trails across the city of Philadelphia and the surrounding region.

A groundbreaking for a new section of the trail, Bartram’s Mile, will allow Roxborough and Manayunk trail users to explore even farther without ever leaving the comforts and sanctity of the trail.

The groundbreaking is set for November 23, according to the Schuylkill River Development Corporation.
