Mary’s Shelter supports families in the community and works to prevent homelessness 
through housing, education and social service programs. Its programs have been used as a model for establishing new maternity homes and other services in many states. In addition, Mary's Shelter executive staff members have been consulted on every aspect of establishing a Maternity Home from the grass roots beginning to program development to creating a development plan.
