TriCounty Community Center Offers Career Fair May 22

State Rep. Painter encourages residents to attend.

It is a tough world out there, and especially for those looking for a job. Thankfully, there are resources in the area designed to help.

State Rep. Mark Painter (D-Montgomery) recently shared a release in order to encourage those seeking employment or a job change to stop by the TriCounty Community Career Fair on May 22.

"Whether a person is out of work or looking to find a better job, the upcoming career fair is a great place to start a job search," said Painter.

Painter is co-sponsoring the free event, which will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on May 22 at the Sunnybrook Ballroom, 50 Sunnybrook Road.

No registration is necessary for job seekers.

More than 70 employers have signed on to attend the event, in order to offer open positions. Those with tables at the event will be a wide array of businesses, including area financial institutions, health care services, senior living facilities, Pennsylvania CareerLink, Pennsylvania State Civil Service Commission and various retail outlets.

A resume workshop and legal workshop also will be held during the event, according to Painter.
