Young Pottstown Actress Performs in "Matilda the Musical"

Evan Burkholder performs on the Walnut Mainstage in the ensemble of Roald Dahl's Matilda The Musical - playing now through January 6, 2019.

Based on the beloved Roald Dahl novel, Matilda is the story of the courageous little girl with an unbounded imagination who proves that despite the odds, you can do anything you put your mind to—and change your destiny. Eva Burkholder is an 8th grader at the Owen J. Roberts Middle School and resident of Pottstown, PA. Currently Eva studies contemporary, jazz, tap, modern, ballet, lyrical, hip-hop, street funk, musical theatre, and acro at the Premiere Dance Studio in Pottstown. Eva made her acting debut in a production of The Music Man at Firebird Theatre in Phoenixville, PA. The Walnut's Matilda the Musical marks Eva’s professional acting debut
