Big Changes Could Come to Small Corner
A local commissioner says Radnor would consider reasonable offers for its municipal parking lot in Bryn Mawr.
Five buildings and a parking lot that make up a prominent corner in Bryn Mawr have been put on the market. A second parking lot, owned by Radnor Township, could also be included in a sale.
The lot, which has about six metered parking spaces, "doesn't really serve us," said John Nagle, commissioner of the Fifth Ward, which covers the Bryn Mawr section of the township.
"I don’t think anyone would have issue if there’s a good plan," Nagle told Radnor Patch.

According to Binswanger Management Corporation, which has been retained by Main Line Realty Corporation and Glenbrook Real Estate Associates, the properties will be available for purchase through a sealed bid process.
There are various retail and commercial buildings situated on the site being sold by two separate owners, according to Binswanger.

Nagle said he can see mixed use, including retail, offices and residential, being successful there.
"It's such a unique location. The biggest problem is getting in and out of the site," he said. The township's lot may be the key—it offers the access to Bryn Mawr Avenue.
"We will certainly entertain any reasonable offer, especially if it facilitates some redevelopment," he said.
