Property settlements in Radnor Township during August of 2013 increased 14 percent from the same month last year.
According to a report from Prudential Fox and Roach, there were 49 properties that closed in August, compared with 43 from last year. Both are up significantly from 29 in August 2011.
The median price of the properties that did sell in August of 2013 increased 5.6 percent over the same period last year, from $589,000 to $622,000, both down from $665,000 in August 2011.

The average days on the market decreased by 45 percent from 91 to 50 days between last August and this August.
